Hello Kostas,
The above .xml shows O.K. on browser.

I dont think so, there seems to be something wrong with the XML, When i pull the link you posted on browser there is an error

This page contains the following errors:
error on line 564 at column 33: Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding !
Bytes: 0xCE 0xB3 0xCE 0xB5

Hello Tharuna,
The default encoding of the .xml file is windows-1253.
"<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1253"?>"
CSVI can accept this encoding?
Thanks.
Best Regards
Kostas

Hello Kostas,
Default encoding for CSVI is UTF-8, you need to have your XML file with this encoding.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Tharuna,
the problem probably is irrelative with encoding because:

1) I've been using this .xml file since three months at least
2) I've tested another URL
http://www.dot-media.gr/imgBanner/RightBanner/xml.xml
and the same error appears again.

Thanks.
Best Regards

Hello Kostas,
1) I've been using this .xml file since three months at least

As i said earlier, the XML URL(http://xml.burn-out.gr/getproducts?key=kostakis@art_web.xml) you posted has some problem as it says error when called on browser. You need to check this XML content than encoding
This page contains the following errors:
error on line 1038 at column 33: Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding !
Bytes: 0xCF 0x8C 0xCF 0x84
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

2) I've tested another URL
http://www.dot-media.gr/imgBanner/RightBanner/xml.xml
and the same error appears again.

I tested this link here and the import went fine so i am guessing this is something to do with your template settings. Can you post your template xml file to check?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Kostas,

I don't see an issue with the XML in the browser either. As Tharuna requested, please post your template XML, so we can test the import ourselves.

As for the encoding question. CSVI assumes all import files are UTF-8 because all data for Joomla needs to be in UTF-8. Importing a non-UTF8 file can have mixed results. If your import file contains only A-Z, there won't be a reason it needs to be UTF-8 but when you get extended characters, UTF-8 is basically a must. Importing a non-UTF-8 file is at your own risk, we can't guarantee if it works. If it does, great, if it doesn't too bad :)
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello Roland,
I send you the template.
I don't know if that helps because of the use of some modified plugins.
Thanks.

Hello Roland,
Is it possible that the error appears due to the lack of space?
Thanks.

Hello Kostas,

That is very well possible. There is no problem with importing the URL you posted or even using the file upload. So the issue will have to be somewhere on your server.

Since you are having space issues, that would be the first place to check.
Kind regards,

RolandD
