Hope someone can help on this!

I've just upgraded Joomla to 3.5.1 Stable so I can upgrade CSV to the latest version CSVI 6.5.7 pro

However when I try to install the upgrade I come up with the following error on installing component

JFolder: :delete: Path is not a folder. Path: /home/creativ2/public_html/anatechsales/administrator/components/com_csvi/install
Can't DROP 'section'; check that column/key exists SQL=ALTER TABLE `#__csvi_rules` DROP COLUMN `section`;

Our original installation was normal as was our Joomla installation so we haven't changed anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

Are you updating from CSVI 5 or from a CSVI 6 version?

In case you are updating from CSVI 5, did you follow the steps in the Installation or updating of CSVI 6 document?
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello,

What you can do is the following:
  1. Unpack the CSVI Pro 6.5.7 package into a folder
  2. Go to the folder admin\sql\updates\mysql\
  3. Delete the files 6.0.0.sql and 6.1.0.sql
  4. Zip the folder again
  5. Install the new zip file

I don't know why yet but Joomla is executing the SQL queries again while that is not needed, this workaround worked for me.
Kind regards,

RolandD
