Hi everybody,

I baught CVSI to especially import data in custom fields form Virtuemart but I don't understand the support article https://www.csvimproved.com/support/import/1120-product-import-with-custom-fields.
In fact I try with a simple CSV file with 3 fields (product_sku, custom_title, custom_value), but what I don't understand is why I defined a template with these 3 fileds when product_sku is only available in "Product" operation when I create my template and then my product fields. But when i try to add custom_title and custom_value field they are not available in the field name zone (normal because operation is on product). And when I changed operation to custom fields thenit's the product_sku field which is not available. How can I do this ? Could you help me ? Thanks in advance. Regards, Cyrille.

Hello Cyrille,
Your are missing these fields in your template so you need to Update your available fields and you're right, you need "Product" operation in template to import custom fields for a product.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hi Tharuna,

Thanks for your reponse. I update the available fields and I have now the custom fields. I try a first import and it seems to work well, but whenI try the same import once again I have this message : "No supported fields have been found in the import file".

I don't understand. Here is my CSV file :

"product_sku";"custom_title";"custom_value"
"CAOMAPINFOPERF";"Public";"Test de public"

I join the template fields parameter and the error message.

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Cyrille.

Hello,
In your template settings on File tab, set option Use file for configuration to No and then try doing the import. Let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
