Resolved Customizing an import

You can write your own rule plugin to check values as you want and apply the new rule to the corresponding fields and then run the import.

You need to create your own files as explained in the document linked in the above post and write your own custom code to create your rules. You can follow the core rules plugin we have in CSVI for help, they can be found at plugins/csvirules folder.

Making a csvirules is too difficult for me.

Making a rule will be considered as custom work and is chargeable as it requires time and efforts. You can email details to Roland at contact@csvimproved.com.

Is it only category value you are looking at? your previous post had some mentioning about product_name too. Other than rules there is also another way to do this, by writing override file for import. Override files will have all your custom changes and wont be replaced or overwritten when the extension is updated. But again you may need a developer help here if you cant do it yourself.
