I must be losing my mind. I have used CSVI since 2011 and always been able to figure out how to achieve the results I was looking for. I installed the latest version 6.3.0 on top of my older 5.xx version and was getting 1064 errors so I uninstalled it and dropped all the csvi tables and did a fresh install. No errors at all except trying to figure out how to get the system to see the all the db tables that I need to import/export to. I've tried everything I can find. Reset the tasks, uninstalled it again, dropped the tables, reinstalled and still nothing. How do I get the component to read all the rest of the db tables so i can create my custom templates?

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply, mails have been getting lost so I didn't reply earlier.

How do I get the component to read all the rest of the db tables so i can create my custom templates?
Go to Templates -> Templates and create a new template of the operation Import or Export -> CSVI Pro -> Custom table and click on Save. You will get a new tab called Options. Here you can select which table you want to import or export. Save the template again and you should see the fields in the list of Available Fields, if not update them first but then you should see them.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi Rolandd,
I had the same issue as amelcher. How to import/export a custom table using CSVI Pro 6.3. I followed your steps. I created a new template set it to be CSVI Pro and Custom Table. Upon saving it took me to to the Dashboard with the error message:
"No available fields found for export template for com_csvi and action custom. To update the list of available fields go to Available Fields and click on Update." Going back into the template manager and clicking on the new template produces the same error. Updating the available fields only updates fields for the tables already loaded into CSVI Pro. I am not seeing a way to add a new DB table. Are there other steps to try?
Thanks!

Hello,

I was able to reproduce it with the export of the custom table template. The attached patch fixes this issue and you should be able to create your template. Load the patch file and all should be good.
