Hi Rolandd,

I mentioned this in my previous post, but it seems to be happening again. I have just completed a live stock feed import from a url and have noticed my site storage shoot up to over 5GB. When i drill down into the tmp folder path i can keep going. Within each of the folders called 1447336261 my entire site seems to be stored. The file path is below:

public_html/tmp/com_csvi/1447336261/tmp/com_csvi/1447336261/tmp/com_csvi/1447336261/tmp/com_csvi/1447336261/tmp/com_csvi/1447336261/tmp/com_csvi/1447336261/tmp/com_csvi/1447336261/

I have deleted the files again, but i am unsure why this is happening, have you any idea? Obviously i want it to stop as my account keeps getting throttled.

Best Regards
Donna

Hello Donna,

but i am unsure why this is happening, have you any idea?
We have identified 2 different situations where this can happen. The first is if your setup is not using the default paths for the tmp folder, the second is if the template has only been saved once. The first issue has been fixed in CSVI 6.3.0 and the second issue is fixed for CSVI 6.4.0 which will be released in the next few days.

I have attached a patch file that you can load via the maintenance menu that contains the fix for the tmp folder. You can test if that works for you. Please let me know how it goes.

Thank you Rolandd,

I have loaded the patch and will monitor it going forward. Just a quick one, im setting up a cron job to update my stock levels automatically from a url. The template is set up and working, however in the cron example it specifies importing from a file but not a url? As the url is stored in the template itself can i just end the cron command at --template_name="Live Stock Feed"?

Regards

Donna

Hello Donna,

Since the URL is set in your template, you do not need to specify it on the cron job. You only need to specify the template name and the secret key set in the template.
Kind regards,

RolandD
