Resolved CSVI 6.5.2 Combine rule fails

Hello,

What is broken for you? There were a number of fixes done on the CSVI rules as they were broken in 6.5.1 as far as I could tell.

I have made version 6.5.1 available for download again.

The combine rules,

I have for example name and second name combined and second name is unpublished but doesnt display in name.

Same for products and custom fields.

We have figured out the issue and fixed it. Please update your CSVI to 6.5.2 version and load the patch file attached. This will solve the issue with combine rule on export.

Also, this fix will be included in our next CSVI 6.5.3 version.

Yes I did that and the result is that columns that use the combined rule return empty values.

I have taken a look at my own export template, where I do a bunch of combining and replacing. The combining works there with the patch.

To be sure I created a new template to combine 2 fields on export where 1 field is unpublished. This works as well for me. I have the idea that something may not be right in your installation. Can you check if the patch is applied correctly?

I checked twice, updated to 6.5.2 then I applied patch and the export file with replace rules return empty values in the column.

Installed 6.4.3 again and everything works fine.

An example of my combine rules:

source fields: first_name,last_name

target field: first_name

Combine character: emtpy

In template last_name is unpublished

First name returns no values.

Hi Roland, I seem to have a similar problem. Today I updated from CSVI pro 6.5.1 to 6.5.3 and then the combine fields plugin returned an empty value when exporting Virtuemart data. I reverted back to 6.5.1 and the plugin worked normally again.

Here's my config:
Joomla 3.4.8
VM 3.0.12
CSVI Pro 6.5.3

Source fields: custom,category_id,product_name
Target field: product_name
Combine character: space

This should return my brand name, category and product title (e.g. Saint Basics boxershort St. Luke Blue) but in version 6.5.3, the field stays empty.
