Resolved CSV Improved - installation problems

Hi Roland,

Thank you for your recent support, but I have new issue. Now rush to responde, it is Sunday.

My installation failed. First I had note "could not install, your PHP should be 5.4 or over".
I did upgrade on my site to PHP 5.6.9 (from version 5.3) and did new installation. I am on Joomla 3.4
Now I have this message: Unknown column 'csvi_setting_id' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT IGNORE INTO `aue_csvi_settings` (`csvi_setting_id`, `params`) VALUES (1, '');
I checked FAQ, there is nothing to uninstall, component is not installed at all.

Please help.

Hi Roland,
Issue solved. I did try with 5.21.1 and it worked.
Version 6.0.1 did not worked.

Hello Darko,

I checked FAQ, there is nothing to uninstall, component is not installed at all.
You will need to remove the tables in the database that start with aue_csvi_. Due to the first failed installation, Joomla is doing an update on the second try but it wasn't completed the first time around. So you get some funky errors. Removing the tables should help.

Hi Roland,

From some reason, my topic is in wrong category, it should be Joomla 3.

So, I am using Joomla 3.4 and VirtueMart 3.0.8.
I did what you recommended, and 6.0.1 installation was successful. But, it did not worked properly. Functions to load templates did not worked, and complete functionality was not stable (for me).
I will uninstall 6.01 and install 5.21.2

Hello Darko,

Functions to load templates did not worked, and complete functionality was not stable (for me).
That is odd because it is already in use by quite a few people and no such problems are known. These duplicate dropdowns are weird. Any chance you can setup a test site for me to check?

CSVI 5 can be used of course there just won't be any new updates there.

I loaded 5.21.2 . I will upgrade to version 6 later. I wil let you know if any issues. Thank you for support.
