Resolved Combining several instances of the same field

Hi, I am using the product_sku field + a substring filter several times, to automatically generate output for categories, colours, sizes etc. for my VM product export. This works fine for single instances of product_sku.

But I am also using this in combination with other fields by using the combine fields plugin (e.g. Men t-shirt [name] white XL). This means I want to use 4 instances of product_sku, but all with a different filter.

However, I can only define a field name once, so the combine plugin always takes the first instance of product_sku. Is there a way to define which instance I want to use, e.g. by using the column header instead of the field name?

This is actually a scenario I didn't think of to be honest. The one way around this I can think of is that CSVI checks both the column header and then the field name. If any of the two matches, the replacement is done.

I guess that would work for you or not?

Hi Roland, yes, filtering on the column header would be great because that can be made unique. Can you adapt the plugin that way? Thanks!!

It was supposed to happen already but a few things came up that have to be done before the new release can come out. So the new release is planned for this weekend.
