Resolved combing field with date in specific format

Hi Im attempting to setup a new combine field in the import,

This will combine several fields including a date.

Basically the date is imported from the CSV in the following format: 03/09/2015
but throughout my site the date is in the following format 3-SEPT-2015

As I will not able to format the date in the combine field afterwards, I would like it to be in the 3-SEPT-2015 when the fields are combined, could you tell me how I might go about this please.

Hello Jimmy,

You would use a replacement rule first on the date field and replace the /09/ with -SEPT- and I guess for the other months as well. So you can do a multiple replacement with just a text replacement (not regular expression). Have you tried that?

The combine rule should be placed after the replacement rule in the rules list.

Once again ..your the man! Thanks very much!

Just one last thing and I should be done with this task...

I have a price field that is combined, I just need to place the currency symbol (£) at the start of the integer, and if its easy a comma after the first number, if the integer is 4 digits or more

eg.
1200 = £1,200

Im presuming with the replacer? But would I have to enter all the possible prices?
Your advice on this would be much appreciated.
