Resolved Combine on export Virtuemart

Hello,

I want to combine first_name and last_name as first_name on export with the Virtuemart Plugin.
I created a new rule where
source fields are first_name,last_name
target field is first_name.
combine Character = Whitespace

This does not work, only first_name is shown.

If I use for example first_name,company as source fields, both vales are shown.

Its only the combination first_name, last_name which does not work.

CSVI version is 6.6.2

Since you are saying first_name, company works, you have set the rule correct. Make sure that last_name has value in database tables and is not empty.

Hello tharuna,

thanks for your reply.

last_name is not empty, because last_name,company as source fields work.
It is really only the combination first_name,last_name that does not work.
I have attached the logfile, maybe that helps.

Hello Florian,
Your debug log shows me that you dont have last_name in your template fields. You need to have that field in template fields for combine plugin. Have a look at the combine field document and source field section. Try doing the export adding the field and let me know. If you still have issues, post screenshot of your rules page on how it is set.

ah okay, I think I got it now.
Haven´t realised, that I need to put last_name into template fields and unpublish it.
Works now!
