Hi,
Now that I managed to export the VM categories and products I'm trying to modify them and upload them again via the import template. I've tried with several files now, but still can't find a way on how to do this.
When I do a preview I get : No supported fields have been found in the import file
When I try to do the import, I get this message COM_CSVI_NO_CATEGORY_PATH_SET

I tried to change the delimiters, and also exported file and imported again without making any changes and still no success.
I enclosed the log file, as well as the files I tried to upload. (test.csv is one I created myself with delimiter ";". category export is generated by CSVI with "," and loaded this first before I change delimiter settings.

Thanks in advance, Jo

Hello Jo,

In your template you have set Auto-detect delimiters to No and the delimiter is set to a comma however your CSV file uses semi-colon as a delimiter. You must set the delimiter to semi-colon in the template otherwise CSVI can't read the file correctly. That should work or it still doesn't? If it still doesn't, go to the Template fields page and select all fields and click the Publish button. Then try the import again and see if it works.
Kind regards,

RolandD

thanks again Roland.
I did try both "," and ";" before on setup and in the file.
But it seems the publish field did the trick again... (like it did with export)
However it's a bit confusing, as on the screen for the category import fields the column "published" is not visible, so I was not aware, the function existed. How can I make this column visible, or is this not possible?
(see enclosed)
Thanks, Jo

Hello Jo,

I am not even aware the fields should be published ;) This morning in another issue I found this out that the import checks the published state of the field. This should not happen and I have created an issue for that and will fix it for the next release.
Kind regards,

RolandD
