Hi Roland,

Noted the following:

1. Maintenance -> CSVI Pro -> Empty Temp Folder indeeds empties the /tmp folder but not the /logs folder (Although in CSVI Logs menu -> Action Type says "Empty the CSVI temporary folder and the log folder";). I'm not sure whether it should empty the /logs folder also.

2. In CSVI Logs Screen, when i click on Delete or Delete All button, a pop-up appears but when i click OK nothings happens, seems that it doesn't pass any command. Using Joomla 3.4.3.

Rgrds,
Chris

Hello Chris,

  1. In previous versions the CSVI log folder was inside the tmp folder but I decided to move it to the Logs folder where all other logs are. A good point, I can remove the CSVI logs from the logs folder.
  2. Bug has been reported before and has been fixed.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello Roland,

In 6.0.1 noted the following:

From Maintenance tasks when you clean the temp folder you get:

"Temp folder .../tmp/com_csvi and log folder .../log has been cleaned"

They are indeed cleaned, so the /logs folder still has to be done from the logs menu? Now the button is working there and enties are gone, but the files on the server do not get deleted. Maybe it would be a good idea to include this in the maintenance task so that we may cron it.

Thanks,
Chris

Hello Chris,

The /logs folder gets emptied if there is no relevant record in the database. You are saying that is not working for you? This is triggered via the Maintenance option of cleaning the temp folder.
Kind regards,

Hi Roland,

Just checked this again on 6.2.0; there is currently no way i think to clear the /logs folder from com_csvi.log.xx.php files, these are stacking and you have to delete them manually from the server, maybe i'm missing smth?

Currently, if you go Maintenance->CSVI Pro->Clean temp folder (even after deleting the logs from CSVI relevant tab), CSVI only cleans the following:

Temp folder .../public_html/tmp/com_csvi and log folder .../public_html/log has been cleaned

Would be nice to have the /logs also cleaned.

Rgrds,
Chris

Hello Chris,

In CSVI 6.3.0 the way the logs/ and tmp/ folder are defined has been changed. The Clean temp folder should empty everything now where needed.
Kind regards,

RolandD
