When i make a joomla content import the articles are created but not the categories.
Categories are created by the category import, not the content import.
It does not matter if the categories that are defined in the category_path are existing or not in joomla.
Existing categories should work unless there is something wrong. If a category is not found it will be assigned to the uncategorised category of Joomla, assuming this has not been removed.
The category Denew already exists? What I see from the debug log is that no category is found. The query
select id from trave_categories where extension = 'com_content' and path = 'Denew';
returns nothing. You can try this query in PhpMyAdmin.
