Hi

I´m trying to import products to virtuemart and this products contains 3 custom fields.

So I rode your instructions and create a file with this fields:

product_sku
category_path
manufacturer_name
product_name
product_in_stock
product_price
custom_title
custom_value
custom_price
custom_param
shopper_group_name
published

Where I set up my 3 custom fields as you can see in the attached image.

I uploaded the csv but the custom fields are not created so I would like to know what I´m doing wrong.

Another question is if "custom_price" and "custom_param" fields are necessary. I set this two fields to "N" because I don´t need it but following your instructions are included in the csv.

I already updated the fields.

Wait for your answer.

Best regards!!

Hello,
Were the custom fields created in Virtuemart >> Custom fields page before importing the file? If yes, can you post the debug log of the import?

Another question is if "custom_price" and "custom_param" fields are necessary. I set this two fields to "N" because I don´t need it but following your instructions are included in the csv.

They are actually not required if you dont have any specific values for them.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Were the custom fields created in Virtuemart >> No, this custom fields were´nt created before the import. I thought that the import create custom field.

So, Do I have to create the custom fields before and the csvipro will import data to them?

It´s my csv correct?

Yes, you need to create these fields and CSVI will import data to them.

It´s my csv correct?

Yes, it is correct as per the screenshot. Try the import and post the debug log if you see any issue.

Don´t matter about the other post.

I created custom fields in virtuemart and then did the import.

Now the custom fields appears in product frontend and in the product article backend.

It works.

My last question about this:

In product fields (virtuemart backend) there is an area of "default value"

Should the products values appears there after the import??? As you can see in the attached image is blank.

Where Can I look to all the values that I created then?

Best regards

Hello,
The attached image is the page for custom fields and you have imported custom fields for products. So the custom field values can be seen at Virtuemart >> Products >> Click on any product you imported >> Custom fields tab.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
