while adding field to template there's a dropdown list of all available fields. If list contains many fields (for example while creating product import for virtuemart) adding only few of them is a bit of pain, I know about "Qucik add", but also in "Quick add" I must search field manually (what's more it seems there's a bug somewhere because I can't scroll down "Quick add" popup window).
My question is - can you make this list searchable? Maybe JHTML::_('select.genericlist'.... ?

It is supposed to be searchable but I guess I missed the import one because the export one is searchable.
Attached is a patch file that makes the import fields also searchable.
As for scrolling in the Quick Add list, beats me. I think something changed with Joomla 3.4 because it looked quite different on Joomla 3.3. I will have to investigate that one.
