and I use custom fields, for example fields from regularlabs "linked fields".
This is not something I know or heard of nor can I find it on the website of Regular Labs.
how can I render the value of any field using a custom layout?
The way RO CSVI works is that you can use custom fields like regular fields. Let's say you have a custom field called
Location then in the export you will have the field available with the name
Location. However there is no option to choose between raw value or the rendered value. RO CSVI always outputs the raw value.
Rendering of values is something to be done by the system at the time the data is presented to users, so not really applicable to the export/import of data. Of course you can write your own plugin that listens to the
exportCustomfields event and modify the output to your needs but that would require coding skills.
