Hi I have a problem running a cron job I think my version is possibley outdated

I'm on Joomla 4 and tryign to run eg /usr/local/bin/php /home/xxxxx/public_html/cli/joomla.php rocsvi:export --template_id=1

by I get a symphony message...
Command "rocsvi:export" is not defined.

I'm running 8.4 does this mean I need to update the component - Perhaps this wasnt written for J4?

Hello,

The native Joomla 4 CLI support came with RO CSVI 8.9.0. To use the cron job with an older RO CSVI version you need to use the RO CSVI cron.php file as outlined in the cron job documentation.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Ah thank you I tried that but get

/usr/local/bin/php /home/xxxx/public_html/administrator/components/com_csvi/helper/cron.php --key="xxxxxx" --template_id="1"

Could not parse the requested URI http:///home/thedrovers/public_html/administrator/components/com_csvi/helper/cron.php

seems to try to get a url

I"ll probably just buy newer version anyway

Hello,
Could not parse the requested URI http:///home/thedrovers/public_html/administrator/components/com_csvi/helper/cron.php

With Joomla4 the way to run cron script is different so you see this error with usual way. We have introduced a new system plugin in RO CSVI 8.9.0 version which will solve this error. You need to update to this version to get this feature.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
