Will RO CSVI 9.10.0 be able to handle multiple category assignments (many of my 1000 products belong to more than one category) and support image import?
Yes, RO CSVI J2Commerce addon developed for Joomla6 installation can import multiple categories and images for products. For images fields used are main_image, additional_images and additional_tiny_images. main_image field contains first image additional_images and additional_tiny_images field can import multiple images separated by |.
I'm wanting to import into a fresh Joomla 6 install with the the latest J2Commerce. I'll be exporting products/image names from an old Joomla 3 site running mijoshop. Their built-in export will hopefully give us the needed info.
Check If product data export in mijoshop can be exported in needed RO CSVI.
An example format would be
"title","sku","price","vendor_user_email","manufacturer_name","category_path","main_image","additional_images"
"Sample product";"100365";"140";"user1@localhost.loc";"Test Manufacturer","parent-category|parent-categtory/child-categroy1|parent-category/child-category2", "images/100123_main.jpg","images/100123_thumb.jpg,images/100123_1.jpg|images/100123_2.jpg"
