The release of RO Single Sign On 2.1.0 is the first iteration of the new 2 series. This release includes a security fix in SimpleSAMLphp so users are adviced to upgrade.
SimpleSAMLphp
The SimpleSAMLphp library has been updated to version 2.3.7 which is the current release of SimpleSAMLphp. In SimpleSAMLphp they are now storing the administrator password in a hashed version, therefor this is no longer visible in the backend. RO Single Sign On will also hash your password when you put in a new password. It is recommended to re-enter the administrator password so it can be hashed.
Other changes
There are only 2 other changes:
- The input fields in the Field Mapper have been enlarged so they take up all available space
- The certificate check has been corrected as it looked at the wrong setting
