Now that RO Payments 9.5.0 is available we can introduce our Guided Tours. The Guided Tours will help you walk through a lot of things you can do with RO Payments. Other than that, the rest are mostly bugfixes to stabilize the codebase.
Guided Tours
Joomla has had Guided Tours for quite some time and to make use of them as alternative next to the documentation was on the list for a while. Today I am happy to announce we offer a range of Guided Tours to help you make use of RO Payments. There are some more coming but the first batch is out.
Documentation
In lieue of the Guided Tours we have also updated our documentation substantially and we hope that the documentation is more suitable.
HikaShop
In the previous release we already made some changes to how you can map your HikaShop status to that of RO Payments so any payment updates are reflected correctly in the orders. This release we made this more stable as we found some circumstances where it may not behave as required.
The cancellation URL would fail on a newer version of HikaShop due to security hardening which we have now applied as well.
Buckaroo
The Buckaroo test mode was not used consistently throughout so when testing a payment status check was done against the live environment. This way you would not get any status in test mode.
Credit-card payments failed if you had set a specific credit-card type in your checkout. Having no specific credit-card works fine but if you specified visa for example, Buckaroo would fail to read that specific card. This is now fixed and you can use individual credit-card names in checkout.
