RO CSVI 9.2.0 release

RO CSVI 9.2.0 release

Our monthly releases keep on rolling. As we are transitioning to the new Joomla way of working and new PHP versions, all kind of bugs crawl out the woodwork. We managed to catch quite a few of them and squash them. Further we are chipping away at cleaning up the screens, this time we have redone all the toolbars to be consistent with Joomla.

Quick Add and modals

RO CSVI has been using it's own standard modal but that is no longer needed with the new Modal dialog in Joomla so we are replacing all our own modals with the core Joomla modal. The very first one that has been redone is the Quick Add modal on the template fields page. This should now scale with your screen and look better. The field to filter on _id fields has been removed as there is not any real value in them as you can use the filter field to find the fields you are looking for. We have more changes planned for the Quick Add modal but they will come in future releases.

The modals used on the template edit page and template wizard page have also been replaced by the Joomla modal to give you a responsive modal.

Conditional rule

We had announced this feature in the previous release but due to a mistake the feature did not make it into the release. This time it is here.

The conditional rule has a new condition that can be used, that is the between condition so you can build conditions between 2 values.

PhocaCart Order export

The PhocaCart Order export was stil in it's infancy in terms of features, so we have extended and implemented the filters as seen in other order exports. This makes the PhocaCart Order export a mature export with many filtering features.

Last Run filter

There are a number of exports that have the option to filter on Last Run date or the Last Order ID to select only the new records for export. Unfortunately this was broken in a number of exports due to the refactoring of the template management. Now they are all fixed in all exports.

Import exception

In the past if you ran an import that failed due to a database error for example, the import would continue with the next record. This was no longer the case due to a change in Joomla and we would get the error too late causing the import to stop and just show the error. We have changed this behavior for now by catching the exception as early as possible so we can log the error for your reference and then continue with the next record. This way your import will continue to run to import all entries and you can check the logfile afterwards for any possible issues.
