The installation of RO CSVI requires a few steps but also depends on how you are going to use it. Generally speaking you would need RO CSVI and one or more add-ons for the third party extension you wan to connect with unless you are only using Joomla core. Support for Joomla core is included in the basic package.
Installation
If you are going to use RO CSVI with a third party extension, make sure to download the add-on package as well.
Follow these steps to install RO CSVI in Joomla:
- Go to Extensions -> Manage -> Install
- Select Upload Package File
- Select the package by clicking on browse for file
- Joomla will now install RO CSVI
Next is to install the add-ons you want to use. Make sure you have downloaded all the add-on packages you wish to use.
- Go to Extensions -> Manage -> Install
- Select Upload Package File
- Select the package by clicking on browse for file
- Joomla will now install the uploaded add-on
- Repeat this process for every add-on you want to use
Updating the Available Fields
The available fields are at the core of RO CSVI, they allow you to select what data to export and to import. We must make sure they are up-to-date.
- Go to Components -> RO CSVI
- Click on Available Fields in the left menu
- Click on Update to update the fields
- The fields will now be indexed
- When the process is finished, RO CSVI is ready for use
