hello i have csvi 7.0.2 and virtuemart 3.0.18 and when i add child products and i go on virtuemart products and choose on parent product nothing is displayed

Your debug log looks good to me. It shows that parent and child products have been processed. Can you also send me your import file sample? I will run it here and check.

Hello,
Running the import with your file shows both the parent and child products in VirtueMart. Can you post the screenshot of VirtueMart products page? I also hope you click on link under column Product has Children? in VirtueMart products page which says the number of child products the parent has.

where exactly is this column Product has Children? The problem is that when i import the csv file and then go to vrituemart in a parent product i go on the custom field tab of the parent product and custom field size is selected but it doesn't show the numbers of the child products. I have to reselect it from this radio button and click save. Then everything is ok. But i can't do this for 1000 products

Hello,
I understood your issue wrong, your initial post sounded like your child products did not import or don't show under parent product on VirtueMart products page. The problem you have is with the multi variant custom field, Do you have Size custom field already added in VirtueMart custom fields page before running the import? If yes, Update your available fields and then do the import again.

now that i updated the fields something is changed. If you see the import file that i have sent you now it can't be imported because it doesn't recognize Size field

Hello,
There i see the problem in your screenshot, you don't have Multi variant field with title as in per your import file. Please have a look at Import Multi variant custom field document. You need to have a custom field with title Multi Variant and custom field type as Multi variant. The second field you need is Size with the custom field type as per your requirement. Look at the attached screenshot. After adding these fields, update your available fields and then try doing the import.

Whenever you add a new field it is a must you need to update your available fields so CSVI can recognise the field.

Hello,
What is the problem you are having now? You multi variants did not work because you had wrong settings of custom fields in VirtueMart. If you set your custom fields as per the screenshot i posted, your import should work good. I have no issues with your import file here.
